Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) Delhi invites applications for 2023 admissions in the following two 4 Year Design courses (total intake is 60 seats):

1. Bachelor of Design in Product Design
2. Bachelor of Design in Fashion Technology.

The Department of Design at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) was established in the year 2020 with the objective of imparting advanced and progressive design education to young design aspirants. The department is currently running the above two undergraduate programmes in the disciplines of Product design and Fashion technology.

Application and dates: Applications need to be made in online mode. 

a) Round 1
Application last date: 29 May 2023
Display of merit list: 5 June 2023
Documents verification and counseling: 13 & 14 June 2023

b) Round 2 (subject to availability of seats)
Application last date: 10 July 2023
Display of merit list: 14 July 2023
Documents verification and counseling: 18 & 19 July 2023

c) Spot round will be 31 July 2023 (subject to availability of seats)

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: The seats will be offered to students fulfilling the below mentioned criteria listed in order of priority.

A. Bachelor of Design in Product Design
Preference for this course will be given to those students who have cleared “UCEED” or any other Design Entrance examination as per eligibility criteria given below.
Candidates who have cleared an Entrance Examination in “Fashion Technology/Fashion Design” will be offered remaining seats, if any, in the spot rounds only.

A(1) Merit List-First Preference
A(1.1) Candidates securing a rank in a National Level “UCEED / Design” Entrance Examination (for a Four Year Course) of any Central (“Government of India”) funded Institute/University.
AND
A(1.2) In case of a candidate appearing in “more than one” National Examination in “UCEED / Design”, the “best rank” in the National Level Examinations of the candidate shall be considered.
AND
A(1.3) Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed the 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination are eligible.

A(2) Merit List-Second Preference
A(2.1) Candidates securing a rank in a State Level “Design” Entrance Examination (for a Four Year Course) of any State Government Funded Institute/University.
AND
A(2.2) In case of a candidate, appearing in “more than one” State Level Examination of “Design” “the best rank” in State Level Examinations of the candidate shall be considered.
AND
A(2.3) Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed the 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination are eligible.

A(3) Merit List-Third Preference
(Seats under this category will be offered only during the Spot round of admissions.)
A(3.1) Aggregate of Class XII Percentage of Marks
AND
A(3.2) Educational Qualifications: Minimum 70% marks in 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination are eligible.

B. Bachelor of Design in Fashion Technology
Preference for this course will be given to those students who have cleared an examination in “Fashion Technology/Fashion Design”. Candidates who have cleared “UCEED” or any other Design Entrance examinations will be offered remaining seats, if any, in the spot rounds only.
